Description

St. George’s School is a nurturing and collaborative community where students of all backgrounds champion and support each other. Here on the Hilltop, we teach our students the value of learning and achievement, service to others and respect for the individual. We believe that these goals can best be accomplished by exposing students to a wide range of ideas and choices in the context of a rigorous curriculum and an inclusive residential community. Our proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and historic downtown Newport enables students to connect to the world beyond our campus.

Unique Characteristics

Geronimo: Sailing aboard our 70-foot cutter, Geronimo, combines cultural immersion with the
development of skills in sailing, leadership, and teamwork. Students sail for one to six weeks
globally, while still completing their academic coursework during school-year trips.

The Rogers Scholar Program: A Washington, D.C.-based, four-day program created by St.
George’s alumni focused on helping students explore policy-making, politics, and job
opportunities in our nation’s capital.

Dragons in Hollywood: A six-day program in Los Angeles, California, offering students the
chance to meet and learn from actors, writers, music executives, and other professionals within
the entertainment industry, many of whom are St. George’s alumni.
