Description

Celebrating over 200 years in education, New Hampton School is a learning environment where happiness matters. Our community celebrates students as individuals and independent thinkers, game-changers and global citizens, athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs. Here, they feel wholly welcomed, creatively inspired, motivated by empathy, and empowered by choice. Peers from 30 countries engage with, encourage, and honor one another. Today, research supports concurrent emphasis on wonder and well-being. At New Hampton School, a healthy, balanced, confident student body is at the heart of an excellent education.

Project-based learning (PBL) is a core tenant of our curriculum. In the Entrepreneurial Studies Program, New Hampton students are encouraged to become critical thinkers and creative problem solvers. The highlight of New Hampton’s PBL is Project Week, modeling our belief that sometimes the most valuable learning takes place beyond the walls of the typical classroom. Each year, students and faculty work together to create a new and exciting lineup of projects that may take them around the globe or studying in our own backyard.

Unique Characteristics

New Hampton School offers distinctive opportunities—such as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, Project Week, Apple Distinguished School resources, Academic Support Program, experiential learning, exceptional visual and performing arts, stunning geography, and a challenging, individualized curriculum—students and faculty connect in an inclusive, innovative educational experience.
