Description

Blue Ridge School is an all-boys, all-boarding college preparatory school near Charlottesville, Virginia, for grades 9-12. We have 170 students from 23 U.S. states and 21 foreign countries. More than 80% of our faculty live on campus, and our student/faculty ratio is 6/1 with an average class size of eight. BRS has a 100% college acceptance rate, and our graduates attend a wide variety of colleges and universities across the United States. Our 750-acre campus is home to a renowned Outdoor Program that fosters a respect for nature and leadership skills that last a lifetime. We offer 13 different sports—from football, basketball, and lacrosse to mountain biking and tennis. Our Fishburne Learning Center provides small class support for students with learning differences including ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and executive functioning skills. Our co-curricular offerings include programs such as drama, chorus, and robotics. Blue Ridge School also has a strong Honor Code and a Character Education curriculum.
